Minnie Pearl Cody Graves

Texas Trails Council, BSA extends our deepest sympathy to the Minnie Pearl Cody Graves family.  The Graves family have been highly envolved with Scouting for many years.  This is a great loss for not only the Graves family, but the Scouting Family of Texas Trails Council as well.

GOLDTHWAITE — Funeral services for Minnie Pearl Cody Graves, 105, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 1 at First United Methodist Church of Goldthwaite. Burial will follow at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home.

She died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 in Goldthwaite.

She was born Feb. 3, 1912 in Mills County to Isaac B. Cody and Martha Jane Roberts. She married Thomas Clark Graves on Dec. 22, 1935 at Mount Olive in Mills County.

Survivors include children Martha Carolyn Graves Good of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dr. Tom Cody Graves and spouse Carol of Goldthwaite; grandchildren, Rev. Dr. Cynthia Pratt and spouse Dr. Alan Pratt of Massachusetts, Dr. Robert Good and spouse Jackie of New Mexico, Debra Bridges and spouse Steve of Goldthwaite, Dr. Cody Graves and spouse Tracy of Goldthwaite, and Dr. Lisa Thompson and spouse Vince of Lorena; and great-grandchildren, Alden and Natalie Good, Calvin and Hannah Good, Amber and Flint Bridges, Avery and Linley Graves, and Luke and Julie Thompson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. T.C. Graves; and brothers, Jesse Cody and Albert Cody.
