T-Shirt Pre-orders

We have added a form to the “Scouts BSA Resident Camp” event page allowing units to pre-order T-shirts for their scouts and leaders.

Please download the form, fill it out, and submit it along with your payment to the council Scout Shop by May 22^nd.

Staff Opportunities

Are you looking for the opportunity of summer employment? Do you have a passion for the rugged outdoors? Are you one who gives of themselves for the benefit of others? Are you interested in an outdoor camp environment? Do you enjoy teaching and/or mentoring youth? The Texas Trails Council, Boy Scouts of America is delivering its Webelos and Cub Scouts Resident Camp program for 2019 to the youth of America, at Camp Tonkawa, located near Buffalo Gap Texas.

We are currently looking for persons who subscribe to the principles of the Scout Oath & Scout Law to fill various camp staff positions. For more information on what Webelos and Cub Scout Resident Camp is, what positions are open, and what the requirements are for each position, please visit the "Programs" section of the Texas Trails Council, BSA website located HERE. You will find a camp flyer as well as the Camp Staff Application you can fill out to request more information there.

There are still plenty of staff positions as well as volunteer positions that need to be filled. Don't miss out on your opportunity to help make the Summer resident camps an experience the scouts will remember for a lifetime!

Scouts BSA Resident Camp Payment Schedule Breakdown

May 24, 2019

1. Cutoff date for the early registration discount.

2. $75 Campsite reservation fee is due at the time of registration. This includes registrations made before and after May 24^th. This is considered your deposit fee.

3. 50% of total registration cost is due (minus the $75 Campsite reservation fee if it was paid before May 24^th).

May 25, 2019

1. 50% of total registration cost + $75 Campsite reservation fee is due at the time of registration.

May 31, 2019

1. Final payment of the remaining 50% of registration cost is due.

2. 100% of registration cost + campsite reservation fee is due if registering on May 31^st.

All of this information is also included in the "Scouts BSA Resident Camp Program Guidebook".

It is necessary that you download the Program Guidebook as it will include all of the registration details, Merit Badge classes available, and every form that needs to be filled out prior to camp.

2019 Scouts BSA Resident Camp MAVERICK Registration Form

We are now allowing youth to register as a MAVERICK scout until May 31st. The registration form and payment will need to be submitted in full to the Scout Shop by 5:00 PM on May 31st.

Download the registration form, fill it out, and send it to the Texas Trails Council Office.

Texas Trails Council, BSA Scout Shop Updates 2019

Merchandise requests and orders: From this point forward, we will no longer be accepting orders over the phone. If you have a merchandise request or need to place an order, please come by the council Scout Shop, or place the order through the internet using the Scout Shop website found HERE. Please fill out the Merchandise Request Form and e-mail the completed form to ttcscoutshop@scouting.org. Once we receive the order, someone will contact you by e-mail or phone to confirm the merchandise request was received. If you are not contacted within 48 to 72 hours, please call us at 325-677-2688 to ensure we received it.

Unit Advancement: With Scoutbook being made free to use for all BSA units, we are now pushing for every unit to begin using it when entering and tracking advancement for scouts. When working properly, Scoutbook will allow unit leaders to set up Advancement Sync, which will sync up advancement data between ScoutNET and Scoutbook. This will allow you to download and print out an already filled out advancement report to use when turning advancement into the council.

With Scoutbook being made free to use for all units, the demand for paper copies of Advancement Reports has been low. National Supply has discontinued them, meaning the Scout Shop can no longer order them. You can find downloadable Advancement Reports under the "Unit Resources" section by clicking HERE.
